              faithful minister of this chapel 1909 - 1952 /
              Died Dec 1st 1953 /
              Also of KATE his devoted wife / and dear friend of all who knew her
              Died Oct 22nd 1944 /
              To duty, to conscience true however tried and pressed /
              in God’s clear sight high work we do if we but do our best /
              Erected by their daughters

2            Wall Tablet (In Wood)
(I2)        In Gratitude to God for the lives of /
              LEWIS, CLARA and RENE LLOYD. / The furnishings of this chancel
              are offered / by DOROTHY LLOYD to commemorate her family’s /
              devotion to the Christian service and the great / principles for
              which this church stands. /
              victims of an air raid on Dec. 11th 1940 /
              They are buried near the S.W. door. / Dedicated May 20th 1944

              This font is offered by her / loving husband and daughters /
              May 4th 1947 / “Blessed are the pure in heart”

(I7)        "The flowers falleth and the grace / pf the fashion of it perisheth" /
              REBECCA / wife of the Rev. REES LEWIS LLOYD /
              (of Belper Derbyshire) / died April 1st 1849 Aged 28 years /
              "Thy judgements. O Lord, are a great deep but thy mercy is everlasting"
              (N.B. The original inscription reads 1819 but the figure "1" appears
              to have been later converted to a "4", which date is confirmed by the
              inscription on an associated memorial in the churchyard)

6a          Wall Tablet (Brass)
(I10)      The chalice above / was dedicated by / Rev. KEITH GILLEY /
              President of the General Assembly / on 21st November 1999 /
              To commemorate the millennium

(I9)        "I have fought a good fight I have finished my course"
              Erected by many friends / in memory of /
              The reverend JAMES TAPLIN / born Dec 12th 1799 died Dec 19 1882 /
              Through a ministry of more than sixty years he laboured /
              For the welfare of the people /
              he was an ardent promoter of popular education /
              and strove for civil and religious liberty. /
              Still young in heart and vigorous in mind /
              He devoted the closing years of his life, 1870 - 1882, /
              To making Kingswood better than he found it.

8            Wall Tablet (Brass)
(I11)      In memory of the / Reverend THOMAS A. GORTON /
              and in appreciation of his faithful / service as minister at Kingswood /
              from May 1909 until Dec 1952 / the adjoining doors were erected /
              by subscription from the congregation / and other friends /
              With neither meekness or meanness /
              Of spirit, yet with humility before God /
              At all times he spoke and fought /
              For freedom of worship to which / this place is dedicated.

9            Wall Tablet (Brass)
(I12)      With thanks to God / for the memory of / ROSA ROBINS /
              A lifelong member, trustee, / treasurer for 21 years / and
              a benefactress of this church /
              who died on August 25th 1974 / Aged 95 years

(I15)      To The Dear and Cherished Memory of / HARRY VAN WART / of
              Liverpool and formerly of Birmingham / third son of /
              WILLIAM and ROSALINDA VAN WART / who was accidentally drowned /
              by the capsizing of a boat at Llandudno /
              June 30th 1874 Aged 34 years /
              This tablet is erected by his wife Grace /
              "Thy will O God be done" /
              "Father, the chastening rod / so help us thine afflicted ones to bear /
              that in thy spirit-land, / meeting at thy right hand /
              T'will be our heaven to find that he is there"
