(A15)       Dedicated to the Memory of the / Rev. REES LLOYD / who died
                July 7th 1839 Aged 62 years / Through nearly 30 years he was the
                faithful, affectionate pastor of / the congregation which worshipped
                in the adjoining house of prayer in simplicity / and Godly sincerity.
                He had his conversation in the world in the exercise of enlightened /
                devotion, genuine Christian kindness and strong faith in the mercy
                of God to penitent man.
                Sacred also to the memory of MARY daughter of
                THOMAS and MARY BLACKBURNE and relict of the / Rev.REES LLOYD died
                August 2 1844 at Manchester interred August 7 / 1844 at Croft
                Lancashire in the neighbourhood of her birthplace /
                "Safe in the hands of one disposing power / or at natal or the
                mortal hour."

N.B.             In the 1970's eleven tombstones were removed from their original locations in Section E and are now set against the East Wall of the Churchyard at the front of the Church. In 2002 when the paths were tarmacked, three further tombstones were also moved from Section E to the East Wall of the Churchyard. Reading from South to North and numbered EW1 to EW15 with original positions where known.
